Where It All Started...

*warning* photo may not be suitable for all readers*warning*

I was looking through some photos and came across this one... thought I would share.

I took this photo the day my husband went for his first surgery. We did not know that it was cancer at this point in time. He had this lump on his chest for as long as I knew him, but it seemed to suddenly triple in size. It was just a fat deposit lump but unfortunately, that's where the cancer decided to live (Liposarcoma is the cancer of the fat cells). I often wonder had he not had this surgery, would he have lived a little longer, because the cancer didn't have to find a new home?

Anyway, as stated above, this photo may not be suitable for all readers. If you are a bit squeamish, look away now.

And yes, that's my hand next to the lump to show size comparison.

I have After photos too, but I don't feel emotionally capable of looking them up right now. I just happened upon this one.
