When Someone Else Remembers....

.... my heart heals a little bit.

My neighbor texted me and asked if she could come over for a few minutes. I told her my house is a mess and I'm in my jammies, but if she was ok with that then sure, come over.

She came over with a gift bag in her hands. She tells me that someone she knows was making something and when she saw it she was reminded of my husband and my daughter. She told her friend my story and asked if the friend could make one for me. The friend did one better, she made two.

(a daddy and baby angel! Aren't they adorable?!)

When other people show me that they remember.... it means so much to me. While I love the little angels that were given to me, what I appreciated the most was that my family was remembered...

And for a few moments, my heart smiled.

Thank you.

How lovely. I am so grateful for friends who don't judge us for what our homes look like or if we're in our PJs, and who do such special things for us just to make us smile for a little while. Bless them...

That was very sweet :) I am glad that it made your heart smile if only for a moment. I wanted to tell you about a site called To Write Their Names In The Sand http://namesinthesand.blogspot.com/
The site is wonderful and is a beautiful memorial to babies gone to soon. I just wanted to let you know about it incase you were interested in doing it. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you, your husband and your baby. I know I don't know you but your story has touched me in so many ways. Just know that there are people out there that care and will never forget even if they have never meet you.
